I grew up seeing my parents working together, creating a future. I was Blessed to have parents who thought the world was a canvas and taking the necessary steps everyday towards our growth. My home was surrounded by an orange orchard, coffee plants, avocado and cacao. I recently learned that coffee plants are best grown on hilly areas, "spot on dad". I started to reflect on my childhood and was more than impressed with my father's decisions navigating his business, through some structured methods, he designed a system he believed in to make him so successful in agriculture.

Of all the subconscious thoughts and reflections, there was one thing I can remember, was how sure he was, he would get a fruitful crop in coming months. This was attributed to his experiences, his passion, and he was a creator. "The only way to predict the future is to create it." "Life is like learning to ride a bicycle, the moment you stop pedaling, you are sure to fall!"
Limiting beliefs can be defined as thoughts or perceptions that hold us back from reaching our full potential. In the business world, limiting beliefs can manifest in a variety of ways, preventing growth and success. Here are some common limiting beliefs in business and strategies for clearing them:
I'm not good enough This belief can manifest in a variety of ways, such as feeling inadequate or unworthy of success. To clear this belief, it's important to focus on your strengths and accomplishments and remind yourself that you have the skills and abilities to succeed.
I don't have enough experience Feeling like you don't have enough experience can prevent you from taking on new opportunities or moving up in your career. To clear this belief, focus on the skills and experience you do have, and remind yourself that experience is something that can be gained over time.
I can't do it alone Feeling like you need to rely on others to succeed can prevent you from taking ownership of your business and taking the necessary steps to grow it. To clear this belief, remind yourself that you have the resources and support you need to succeed, and that you are capable of achieving your goals on your own.
I'm not creative enough Feeling like you lack creativity can prevent you from coming up with new ideas or taking risks in your business. To clear this belief, remind yourself that creativity is not a fixed trait and that it can be developed and nurtured.
Failure is not an option Feeling like failure is not an option can prevent you from taking risks and trying new things in your business. To clear this belief, remind yourself that failure is a natural part of the learning and growth process, and that it is necessary for success.
Clearing limiting beliefs takes a mindset shift.
